Personal Thoughts:

Oh what a dream come true! I first saw Escaflowne as a Freshman in High School, and it has forever remained one of the best and most wonderful animes I have ever seen. Merle was the first character I cosplayed from it, but though she was cute, Hitomi was my favorite but I lacked the skills for that costume back then. When Sana and Richii told me they were doing Esca costumes, I jumped at the chance to cosplay with them as Hitomi. It's probably the costume I've enjoyed wearing the most, especially since I get to wear it with such wonderful and talented friends ^^ Major thanks to Jaina Solo for making the pleated skirt for me! Cuz mine sucked, haha.
