Construction Details:

I don't think Aeris quite suits me, but I did put a lot of attention to detail into this costume. The dress is from a self drafted pattern with darts trimmed with narrow bias tape. The jacket was made from an altered pattern. It is made from a faux suede material and fully lined and topstiched with thick upholstery thread. The bangles were made from foam sheets, styrene sheets, and Testor's spray paint. They close up with velcro. I was lucky enough to find the boots as is online for a good price. The flowers in my basket were assembled from individual stems to coordinate with the colors in the costume. Styling the hair is the most difficult part!
