Construction Details:

Constructed: September 2000 Time: 15 hours This costume might look bad (I haven't decided yet.) but I love it! I love it! *^_^* Swooping around the house in that long robe is so much fun! But I'm a nerd, so what do you expect? The outer robe is cotton lined with satin, made from Simplicity # 8944. The under-tunic is some kind of rayon blend, the main tunic is satin-lined linen, and the over-tunic (Or "flappies", as I call them.) are also a rayon blend fabric. Both of these were made with Simplicity pattern # 8311. The "flappies" were made from part of a pattern for a school uniform jumper that I altered. The pants are just plain cotton ones I already had. And the boots-! I have the boots! *^_^* They're honeys, padded inside and so comfortable. I love them. They're the best money I ever spent on a pair of shoes. ^_^
