About this Costume
Construction Details:
Wig was purchased but heavily cut and styled. Was originally Mid length wig with no bangs.

I did have a pair of ears but they were so big and was not staying on well. Will have to think of better methods int he future if I decide to ever wear this again.

The top and shorts is made out of a 4 way stretch spandex. The red designs are red vinyl cut into the shape then satin stitched on the black lines. Did a lot of burn effects to the top and shorts. The shorts have belt loops and piping which are hard to see.

The neck piece is eva foam with a custom made character id resin piece. It lights up when I turn on the switch.

Gloves are made out of the same spandex material. Hammered in the grommets.

Belt was originally the red vinyl that I colored silver. Made a resin belt buckle that also lite up.

Zebra fleece piece was the first part I did for this costume and I felt was the easiest.

Just made little leg loops for my leg with scraps of the spandex.

Boots were originally brown that I leather dyed black. Sewed on designs and the red vinyl pieces.

Weapons were custom made from plexi-glass. Bought toys to make for the handles which I painted silver. Installed lights into the blade.

Made eva foam armor pieces for the top and shorts. That was the most time consuming part was shaping the foam and painting. This was my first time working with eva foam.
Personal Thoughts:
Me and my partner Green Ranger decided to make these for AnimeNEXT! World Cosplay Summit Qualifier. Me and Green Ranger dabbled on the idea in the past, once we saw WCS was local for us we finally started on this project.

Me and my older siblings bonded with this game. We had it for the Dreamcast but never really got into it then. But when we owned the gamecube and purchased the game for the gamecube our lives were nothing but this game. I am glad I got to tackle a costume of my childhood.
