Construction Details:

The coat, yukata, and pants were all hand-sewn by a friend in about 3 hours. The geta were made with the help of my grandfather, and they took about 2 days. The wig was bought and styled by me. The hand armor (really cardboard, ssshh!) were also made by me. The headband was the only thing purely bought (though, it had to be repainted in later years.)

Personal Thoughts:

This was originally made in 2007 with the help of good friends and family. Jiraiya debuted at Anime South, 2007, and was recently revived at New Orleans Japan Fest, 2013. If only the actual character would be revived...

Wig Review

By-far my favorite wig to wear! Super roomy (and I have a lot of hair and a big head!) and easy to wear for photo shoots and conventions.
