i love sailor moon, and wanted to gather a group of pretty ladies. I actually never dreamed of pulling an eternal group together- the fuku's are 10x more complex, and fuku's need to look cohesive since every girl has the same design, just different colors! It's not an easy feat to have girls from all over the west coast coordinate such a uniform costume where most of us don't even live next each other, but we did it, and i'm extremely happy with the groups efforts! About this Costume
Construction Details:
The eternal design is really unique and kind of complex for a fuku. You have the tiered skirts, color-coordinated waist-v-stripes, puff sleeves with ribbings, a bow shape that is unique to the eternal form- they are more pointy and flat in appearance- the chokers themselves are shaped in a V which i was a great detail. I really wanted to interpret these costumes the best and accurate way and what also would be flattering in real life!

After analyzing the design, and how we wanted to interpret it, we tackled the skirt mock-up first. We all agreed on box-pleats with horsehair in the hems. Sparklepipsi came up with a great mock-up and guideline's that we followed. Pipsi also created the v-stripe pattern for us to use.

Nyunyu created the collar/bow/sleeve patterns for us.

windofthestars- made the accessories- tiara/broaches
Personal Thoughts:
This was a year long project that i started planning out just right before 2012 fanime haha I got the inspiration when the new SM reboot was announced. I never get sick of SM cosplays, and thought "huh it'd be really cool to do something awesome to celebrate the reboot, and just in general do another sm cosplay group!!"
