About this Costume
- Construction Details:
- A lot of the techniques I used for Judar's outfit were used with fem!Sinbad. The pants were done with the same pattern and fabric technique except I added in a layer of linen because they were rather see-through still. All the beads were painted gold and glued in to attach the cuts together. Shoes were fabric covered flats using a felt form for the pointed tip. Jewelry was crafted with dance fabric ribbed with boning and felt for 3D texturing. Turbon is a snow hat carefully wrapped in linen and fused pheasant and peacock feathers. All gems are resin cast save for the stone pendant on my arm chain.
The top was by far the most confusing part. I had to give myself a bit more oomf in the cleavage department so I specially pinned the linen in a weave that would make them appear more busty and then had it hook together in the back. There's an under layer as a makeshift tube top for solid colour. All chiffon sashes are frey checked to prevent freying. First time with frey check 8D
- Personal Thoughts:
- Most comfortable costume I've ever worn! I've never had a cosplay I felt feminine and beautiful in until this one. I absolutely adore it.
- Styling Notes
- had to style this with my wig stand on top of a ledge because of the length. Spiked the ends and placed in the pony tail. Then I carefully pulled hairs to loosen and volumize the top.
- Wig Review
- A bit shinny for my preference but perfect colour and length.
