Construction Details:

ALL of the handsewing went into this costume. Mainly for the various trims, lace and sewing the bra into the top. Constructing the top based very loosely off a jacket pattern (just to help me get the basic shape) was probably the most time consuming part. Trying to transition a double breasted military jacket with an extremely low neck that goes INTO a full bra & still have the jacket hold it's basic shape was the biggest challenge. I decided to make the tiara out of worbla as a small project with a new material so I could get experience with it before moving onto bigger projects (yay armor).

Personal Thoughts:

A year ago I saw these designs for Miku & Luka & fell i LOVE with the elements of it. I knew I HAD to make this. Pink hair, a princely outfit, Luka & Miku waltzing together... yep, SOLD.
