I want to say this was hard because it was difficult finding a pattern that has a proper cut for the skirt part of the evening dress. Notice how it overlaps and has a bit of a pleat? While Asami wears this for less than a minute in one episode, it was interesting figuring out the rest of it. The shawl makes it look very Maria Clara...oh, that shawl...cutting chiffon is a pain...lots of pinning and ironing to finish off the edge.
