Construction Details:

Because I had only a handful of in game shots of Emille, I was able to get a little creative with the costume. There were, of course, certain things that were obvious, but I was able to take a lot of creative liberties which was really fun. I first decided that I definitely wanted to do a corset for the top and I loved the look of the wine velveteen. A friend of mine was making a corset out of the same fabric and I really loved the look. I used a vogue pattern with some modifications. There are laces in the back and a busk in the front, and I used 1/4 in spiral steel boning. It's hilarious because in the process of making this costume, I learned how abnormally long my torso is for my height.
For the skirt, I went with an off white satin taffeta, to give it a nice crispness and attached the red chiffon ruffle . At this point, I hadn't gotten a ruffle foot, so it's hand gathered. For the overlay, I got this really lovely 2 tone chiffon. It's finished with French seams and a rolling hem on the bottom.
The headband was a REALLY lucky find. The flowers are done with felt flowers from the scrapbooking sections of craft stores. I loved how well they matched the velveteen. :3
The shawl was really annoying and needs to be adjusted some. On the costume's first wear, it kept slipping so that it looked very awkward and uneven in pictures. :/

Personal Thoughts:

Sometimes I like to cosplay really obscure things with no character art and only in game images for references. This is one of those times.
