Construction Details:

These were made for me and my other Madoka girls.

The backs are made out of brass and the gems are dyed resin.
The whole metal process included; rendering the gems on the computer (so that they were symmetrical- minus Sayaka's), printing them at full scale size, gluing onto the metal, cutting, filing, beveling, sanding and polishing.
The resin casting involved making positives out of sculpy, then the negative mold, casting the resin, filing and polishing.

Everything took about 2 weeks of time and nearly 2 hours every day.

Personal Thoughts:

These were a lot of fun to make and they turned out beautifully. Plus they were a +10 on my jewelry crafting skills.
