Construction Details:

The dress was made fully lined and by fully lined I mean there are two muslin layers with clean finishes and French seams where there are seams. The dress was then thrown into the washing and drying machine to get the distressed hems. There's an invisible zipper on the size seam which mostly gets covered up by my (also distressed) waistband sash. The necklace is made from craft foam and hot glue, and it's tied with a bit of suede cord. The leg ties were made from both 1" and 1/8" black elastic.

Personal Thoughts:

Aside from being in the sea of all the Morgiana/Magi cosplayers at ALA, I had a lot of fun cosplaying with a largescale group! I hope to rewear this outfit a few more times before totally wrecking it up à la battle mode. :)

Styling Notes

I trimmed the bangs a little bit and put up some of the side hairs into a ponytail. I then tied a bit of muslin around the ponytail base.
