Construction Details:

I sewed all of the different colored pieces together from a pattern that I altered. I altered some Pleaser boots for her shoes. I used a knit (ponte, I think) for the dress. I used a gold faux leather trim for the "zippers", and sculpey clay for the hearts, which I also spray-painted gold. I bought the gloves.

Personal Thoughts:

I do like this costume...it makes me feel like a sexy lady. Not sure if I look like a sexy lady, though...I'm no WindoftheStars, but I think I pulled it off pretty well.

Styling Notes

I went to a hairstylist to cut the bangs, and that's about all the styling it needed.

Wig Review

It's the best long wig I've ever had. It's heat-resistant fiber, so it's also tangle-resistant, and that really helps in the wig's maintenance. It's nice and thick, and very silky.
