About this Costume
- Construction Details:
- My trusty Cosmode pattern book strikes again, I've gotten faster at making seifukus but I still hate attaching sailor collars. I made the pleated skirt first, the letters were applied using Heat'n Bond and fray checked. I thought of using iron-on transfers, but I wanted to be matchy matchy, so it's the same white fabric used for the top. I used a small puff sleeve pattern this time, which makes it a bit difficult to put the top on (or take it off lol) without possibly smudging my make up. Whoops. ^^; The kerchief is jersey knit, and matches the lining I used for the sailor collar. The bunny hair accessory is jersey knit backed with twill fabric, and stuffed with polyfil, with the facial details painted on. I already owned the thigh highs and loafers needed (surprise! lol), and decided to use my old frames~
- Personal Thoughts:
- Glasses, pleated skirt, and thigh highs? CONSIDER IT DONE. Nonoka is the other mascot who hasn't officially been released yet, and this costume is based on betrayal-and-wisdom's original design. I just want to show my love and support for the site, and hopefully I can find someone to be my Momoka!

- Styling Notes
- I trimmed the bangs up, they turned out a tad shorter than I liked but I'm still happy with how it turned out. I used Lizzy's Curling and Uncurling Wigs video tutorial to style the wig and ponytail clip. I wanted the small ponytail to be detachable, so I purchased a 20" Wavy Curly clip-on and styled it to be short and layered, with the ends slightly flipped out. It was my first time ever curling a wig using rollers, so it didn't turn out as neat as I expected haha. ^^; The wig also has some odd looking kinks from the metal clips holding the rollers, so I'll probably redo the curls with foam rollers.
- Wig Review
- It's been a very long time since I last made a purchase from them, but the quality is just as I remembered! Super thick and easy to style, a cosplayer's dream! I feel like their wig caps used to be average sized, but this one feels bigger (comparable to Arda Wigs). Definitely an improvement, and nothing that can't be fixed with adjusting the clips on the inside!
