Cosplayer Lyn Hargreaves > Costume of Alone Hades from Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas
About this Costume
- Construction Details:
- Made the robe out of baby silk. What was meant to be a quick simple project turned into something that took a bit more time than I wanted and as a result, its far from perfect. It was a last minute idea but I did enjoy wearing it even if the construction doesn't make me happy. The pants ended up being way too short as I thought I had enough fabric for them but I didn't so I only had so much to work with. Will remake the pants later. May also attempt to make the necklace as the official one is way too expensive. x_x;
- Personal Thoughts:
- I've been working on Hades' armor from his full god form in Saint Seiya for the last year or so and decided I wanted to do a non-armor version of him as well in the mean time. Went with the Lost Canvas design because I like it the best, even though I'm not a huge Alone fan. So decided to just use my regular Hades wig instead of doing Alone's hair here (that and I didn't want to get another wig, lol).
- Styling Notes
- I was going to try to spike the wig some to give it a mix of both Alone's style and regular Hades' but it didn't really want to cooperate so I just left it as is.
