Construction Details:

First time I wore this, I wasn't completely happy with how everything turned out, so I re-made my chest "armor", bows, and heart and tiara gems. Sailor fuku are deceptively difficult to get justtttt right!

I used stretch knit for the leotard and upper 'armor' piece, and cotton sateen (which I had to dye twice to get the color right) for the skirt, middy collar and glove rolls.

Personal Thoughts:

One of my cosplay dreams! I've wanted to be a Sailor Neptune with a group of Outer Senshi, and get Uranus/Neptune pictures for a long time. My friends Sam (Uranus) and Julie (Saturn) really made it a special experience.

Wig Review

I love this wig! Though it doesn't seem as soft and tangle-free as the Ferrari seems to be nowadays. The color is a mix of greens, and a blue-ish green, though in some lightings it looks TOO GREEN and kinda bugs me. Neptune's hair seems to vary from more greenish to more teal, so whatever. I personally like the more teal-ish approach, but almost every reference from the anime depicted her hair as more green-ish, so I went that route.
