Construction Details:

I made the entire dress from scratch. I used a pattern for a loose-fitting blouse that had the same collar as the references for the dress, but then I just made it longer. It was my first time sewing a collar/lapel which was really scary, but I'm proud of how it turned out. I also sewed the button holes by hand because I wasn't confident in my skill on the machine (since I had misplaced my button hole tool). I then had a friend help me pin the darts in the front/back so that the dress was fitted correctly.

Overall I'm really happy with this costume :D

Personal Thoughts:

For Halloween I wanted to make something fun that could be both a generic costume and a cosplay, so I decided on doing Nurse Stocking. Without the wig, I just look like a generic sexy nurse, but I included all the details that Stocking's specific outfit has.
