Construction Details:

I used the same pattern for both the blouse and sweater, with modifications for the sweater's neckline and hem. The blouse is cotton sateen with bias trim, and the sweater is a thick knit with cotton sateen for the cuffs, trimmed with a combo of bias tape and lace. The sleeves are interfaced to keep them puffy. The front bow is cotton to match the red bias. The skirt is polyester and box pleated. The hair bows are wired to keep their shape and mounted on hair clips. I had the socks and shoes already, whooo!

Personal Thoughts:

Cutest uniform ever! After making her Magical Girl outfit, I thought this would be a simple, comfortable costume to make for New York Comic Con :)

Styling Notes

Since wearing this with her Magical Girl costume, I trimmed and thinned the bangs a little so they look a bit more natural :)
