Construction Details:

The entire outfit is store bought, but we decided to go for a more "Hunger Games" feel and dirtied ourselves and our outfits up, and adding fake scratches, bandaged wounds, and other injuries. Sketch carved and resin-casted beautiful medallions which we carried, and he also carved a full three-piece silver monkey idol from insulation foam that we could take apart and attempt to put together.

Personal Thoughts:

I wanted to be on this show really badly as a kid, and the Blue Barracudas were my favorite team. I finally got a group of people together in 2012 to cosplay all the Temple teams, and we had a temple themed party at home, complete with trials and an obstacle course, before debuting the outfits at Dragon*Con. I have never had more fun wearing a costume, and we even met a guy who was on the show as a Green Monkey!
