Construction Details:

This costume was one of the hardest things I've attempted. Despite having a great pattern and detailed directions, I had to learn a lot about historical sewing to make this even remotely correct!

I built a corset and panniers to support the costume, which took a ridiculous amount of time on their own. Building the pocket hoops was worth it, though, since I could carry a fan and badges and my phone around in the costume without needing a purse.

My favorite part to make was the little R pin I attached to my stomacher. I thought it just really made the outfit. :)

Personal Thoughts:

Everyone who participated in this group really brought their A-game. I can't believe the amount of work that went in to making this such a success, and I'm so proud of all my buds. <3
