Construction Details:

Dress: super simple, sewn onto an old bra where I replaced the hooks and eyes with wide elastic. I draped my fabric over the bra to make it look the way I wanted and sewed it on.

Pipboys: email me for where I got them, but we finished the up from a raw cast

Bottle props: Ktar designed a high quality file in Illustrator and we got them printed and we glued them to appropriate bottles.

Alien Blaster: I made it out of a double thick cardboard base, blue insulation foam, bondo, and 1364938756 hours of SANDING, priming, painting, weathering.

Uh, and that's basically it, haha.

Personal Thoughts:

I LOVE FALLOUT. I wanted to do a somewhat silly costume, since the whole game is a bit silly.... at least the way I play it.

This is an entirely prop based costume, man.
Ktar and I made all the props in our Fallout group at Dragon*Con 2012. We got the Pipboys from a friend and we sanded, drilled, painted, and wired them up to get the the way they are in these photos. We spent a really long time on finishing them up, it wasn't easy, haha
