Personal Thoughts:

As soon as I noticed these giant elephant ear plants growing in my parent's backyard, my first thought was "must do Hagu cosplay." It's just too perfect! I've wanted to do a Honey and Clover cosplay for ages since I absolutely love the series and the Japanese drama. Originally I thought I'd cosplay Yamada since she's my favorite and I don't think I fit Hagu well. However, I needed something quick to make before the Greenville Momocon on Tour shoot and my new Luna wig was looking perfect for Hagu. She has so many cute outfits I had a hard time deciding, but I fell in love with an adorable fanart of her by hagu-chan on DeviantArt. Please check out her work! It’s all lovely. My Hagu’s more of a loose interpretation of her “::clover” since I only had a day (and limited supplies) to make it, but I thought it still turned out cute~.
