Construction Details:

The shield was made out of EVA foam. There are two layers of foam to create dimension. I used a heat tool to carve the grooves, and used paper clay to sculpt the raised details. The shield was sealed with silicone caulk and plasti-dip. The center piece of the shield features gears that were made out of shrinky dink plastic, and the silver dome piece was made out of wonderflex I formed over a plastic sphere. Two red resin cast gems were added. The shield was painted with gold and silver acrylics and then weathered with brown and black paints.
