About this Costume
Construction Details:
The jacket was probably one of my hardest cosplay constructions. I had battled a jacket before when I cosplayed Maka Albarn from Soul Eater and you'd think I'd learn a lesson or two...haha of course not! Luckily this one didn't need much alteration on the pattern side which made things a lot easier! It also helped to have my mom on the sidelines as my personal cheerleader :) All of the trim detailing on the jacket was hand-sewn because since I was doing it last minute, the stupid sewing machine decided to NOT cooperate with me. It was a tedious task, but I really improved on my hand sewing skills!

I already owned a pair of black pants and shirt, so luckily there was no construction need in those departments.

Gloves were bought at my local costume shop and then modified with foam detailing for his Gauntlet. The flame was also constructed out of foam and painted.
Personal Thoughts:
I was orginally planning on cosplay Enma to surprise a friend for Otakon 2011, but the more I kept reading the new chapter updates and working on the cosplay, the more I grew in love with his character. He's somewhat of an introvert, but will do anything to help his friends and those who he considers to be family. Just like many of the other characters I've cosplayed thus far, I found a lot of myself, in him.
