About this Costume
Construction Details:
We coordinated creating these outfits together, using the same materials and shoes/hose/gloves/helmets/stars appliques etc. Riddle and I sewed ours in a day and a half and I helped ScruffyRebel on a bit of tweaking to finish hers while at Dragoncon.

We wanted to match the other chorus girls so we used the same fabrics as them, but a heavier white satin that photographed well and we used the backside of the red satin for some texture difference. I also had to alter some of the patterns quite a bit for me and Riddle because of our bust size lol.

A huge thanks to Kathy KayDee for putting so much work in the research and development of the costumes (she spent endless hours making patterns and mockups for the group and writing guides/sharing links to the matching accessories!) and to the USO Girls group for letting us join the fun at Dragoncon.

A huge thanks to Chris Fields being Cap for us, and for indulging us in these patriotic photos.

Personal Thoughts:
My friend ScruffyRebel invited me to join the huge Captain America USO Girls group to be formed at Dragoncon, and since I loved the movie and the cute 1940's chrorus girls' design, I was immediately in.
Then Riddle expressed her interested in doing a USO girl as well and we thought it would be fun to make the singers' variant outfits with alternating colors and the helmets reading U, S and A.
