Construction Details:

Ended up basing this outfit off of the artbook images versus that of the anime sicne the anime changes slightly ever few minutes. The top kimono is made out of a white satin and is attached to the top layer of the pleated skirting. The red underlayer is a separate piece from the top and the skirt is box pleated to give a full effect. The obi piece is boned and fully lined in some fun material and wrapped with a thick cord that has a long piece of wire added so that it can be bent into fun shapes. The light pink strip pieces are attached to the obi in the back and thread thruogh the front. They are interfaced to stiffen them up a bit and then threaded with thick pieces of red ribbon. The ‘x’ are all hand beaded to give a little glitz. The cross and Galaxia wristlets are made of foamy, gold spandex, and red resin jems. For the boots I opted just to alter a pair of boots versus making boot covers.
