Construction Details:

The top and shorts are all hand made to be interchangeable to default and the arc where he wears blue top and red pants. All the materials are as listed, Suede, Knit, Jean fabric, faux fur and the buttons are from Wal-Mart hand sewn on. This costume was originally just very simple but I wanted to have fun with it so I decided to make it a little more cool for myself. (Adding I can match my Boa a bit more easy with just small changes.) And I love my authentic straw hat. :D

Personal Thoughts:

Made to match my Boa. Linda wanted me as Luffy so I decided it'll be nice challenge to pull off. (I had second thoughts just because Luffy has a unique look.) Aside from that, I enjoyed being Luffy, his personality really lets me play freely. Still cracks me up how he doesn't pay attention to Boa love and she dreams of marrying him. XD
