Construction Details:

I purchased a black zentai as a base. I used an old t-shirt to make a pattern for the fabric for the red X. I also used 1/2" smaller version of the pattern to cut out the black zentai so I could attach the X. Black flats are worn inside the zentai with soles added to the outside for traction. The cape was made using broadcloth and a Halloween costume pattern from Simplicity.
