Construction Details:

I love this costume! I used Holographic Mystique spandex to make the unitard. I know that it should be cut a lot deeper but I was walking around with my little brother so I didn't think that was appropriate. I made the arm bands out of sequin trim from JoAnne fabrics. The rest I found on ebay. i got a sweet deal on the microphone that lights up and really adds a "dazzling" effect. I also have 2 pairs of shoes. The first are a pair of sequin boots. The second are silver tennis shoes that have roller skate wheels that bolt in. When I first made this I had recently torn 2 ligaments in my right foot so I couldn't skate. I may even invest in a vintage pair of skates and glue mirrors on but I really like the tennis shoes because I can wear them with or without wheels in case the con doesn't allow such things.
