Construction Details:

Hat: McCall's DIY style hat pattern. Top is the same fabric as the rest of the outfit, middle is faux leather, brim is from a cheapo hat I found.
Wig: eBay UtaPri wig
Contacts: Max Color Aqua
Jacket: Cosmode Gakuran pattern with kimono sleeves. Silver trim was hot glued on. Awards are hard felt with buttons attached. shoulder things are painted vinyl with paper clips to hold the silver cord. "zero" kanji on back is black screen printing ink. Stroke order help by the Kotoba! app.
Sleeve details: printed out an enlarged sample of the flower on photo paper, cut out the pattern, then painted a base coat with white screen printing ink. I then mixed acrylic paint to the color I wanted and brushed it over the white base.
Pants: yoga pants with extra room at the bottom

Personal Thoughts:

I feel so spiffy~ I havent made a military-style uniform in a while, I felt very cool in this!
