Construction Details:: This was the second metal armor project for Strike and I (the first was Berserk XD)! The armor is all made from 16, 18, and 20 gauge steel which we both patterned (and I cut). The armor was all shaped (hammered) by Strike, and we darkened it using a chemical process. The designs on my armor are all etched into the metal using a resist that I hand-painted and a chemical etchant. (I also did all the leatherwork on both costumes =)
