About this Costume
Construction Details:
The hair bow and black cincher-style-thing are a black sateen, the jacket/dress is made from a stretch cotton jersey, which I chose specifically because I liked it better when it looked kind of fuzzy, but not enough to be tacky, and looked soft while still holding its shape, so it was perfect to me. The skirt was also stretch jersey, and so were the arm cuffs. The boots I thrifted and painted, but they cracked a lot in my luggage, so I'll be cleaning them up.

Personal Thoughts:
BEING MEGUCA IS EATING. I LOVE KYOKO a lot a lot a LOT, and wearing this and working for ACP was so much fun at both Sakuracon and Otakon, and I had a total blast!! Our skit at Fanime also was a lot of fun to work on. The costume was difficult to figure out, as most Madoka costumes are. It looks simple, but it doesn't actually make any sense once you try to make it. But I got it and I feel pretty good about it!
