About this Costume
Construction Details:
I wanted my version of this design to appear more antique and stray away from the "canon" colors, so I went with slightly textured fabrics and subdued tones because ew bright pink no thank you. Armor is wonderflex and foamboard covered in paperclay, painted with gesso, sanded down, etched, painted, and aged with bronze leafing and black paint. Belt and crown were made in a similar fashion. The red resin gem was plucked from my Princess Sarah crown. I have weird hangups about blonde wigs looking funktastic with my complexion, so I'm just rocking what Momma gave me. Thanks for the convenience, Zelda!
Personal Thoughts:
Just imagine me flailing around the Gaylord National screaming OH MY GOD repeatedly at the top of my lungs. With fifteen of my best friends doing the exact same thing.

This costume was made for our massive Ocarina of Time skit that Jez coordinated and I extrapolated by wrangling together THE ENTIRE CAST. I regret nothing. Not a single thing.

Also yes that is Ollie as Ganondorf.
