About this Costume
Construction Details:
I wanted my version of this design to appear more antique and stray away from the "canon" colors, so I went with slightly textured fabrics and subdued tones instead of bright-ass pink. Armor is wonderflex and foamboard covered in paperclay, painted with gesso, sanded down, etched, painted, and aged with bronze leafing and black paint. Belt and tiara were made in a similar fashion, I casted the resin gem in the middle. Used my own hair because I have weird hangups about blonde wigs looking funktastic with my complexion, womp womp.
Personal Thoughts:
One of my dream costumes, made for our massive Ocarina of Time skit at Katsucon 2012. All my best friends running around as the cast of my favorite game ever was like a goddamn religious experience.
