Construction Details:

Loosely based my gijinka design off this art. I really like the idea of Fluttershy being girly and demure so naturally I loved the long dress design that would cover most of her which seemed fitting for her shyness. I used a regency dress pattern and basically followed it almost exactly so the dress is historically accurate. Fabric is a polyester-blend and lining is cotton. I added the lovely green ribbon and flower brooch in front for a more nature-feel, and expanded the back to form a train. And the cutie mark is in back as well.

Personal Thoughts:

I love Fluttershy so much. As many of my friends can tell you, she is basically me in pony-form, shy and I love animals. I was so excited to get to do this outfit with my friends and I hope to get many more chances to wear it.
