About this Costume
- Construction Details:
- The wig on this costume was styled from a heat resistant wig that absolutely would not take a dye solution (fw, sharpie, or otherwise) so I hand colored it with permanent markers. Fun! The headphones were made from acrylic spheres, rubber tubing, sharpie lids, and apoxie sculpt! Josh helped me attach everything together and to the headband. I made the dress out of a weird, almost sheer yellow fabric - it was the only fabric I could find in the right shade - so I had to double layer it for opacity. The middle portion is made from nude swimsuit lining and stretch black pleather. I bought a pair of black tights, and the shoes, but I added ankle straps to them out of a heavy upholstery weight vinyl. Some people see Elesa's costume as a top and pants, but I saw it as a mini-dress and tights.
- Personal Thoughts:
- I really love this costume and am glad I made it, but GAH I always forget to wear the stupid choker in photos!
