Construction Details:

Construction was a few different patterns and a lot of alterations. The shear undergarment was made of 3 different patterns because finding a decent on for it was a pain. We used a bodice pattern from one, a skirt pattern to attach, and the sleeves and neck from another pattern. The robe was made of costume silk and was made from a very simple but slightly altered robe pattern. The sash is one thing I would like to redo and it was made from my head.

Personal Thoughts:

Priestess Miaka has been a dream cosplay for a fair share of years. She was finally completed in 2011, and very skillfully by my grandmother. There are slight things I still need to update, add and make look better but all in all I am very proud of this cosplay.
