About this Costume
Construction Details:
The character designer must not like cosplayers. Because Homura wears white on BLACK. I had to line to white top in a effort to prevent color leak (which I'm sure happened anyway.)

The skirt is a normal pleat skirt with a circle skirt underneath that has the laces attached to, basically how I made my Stocking skirt. The stocking/tights were bought from Taobao a while ago because I like the design, well, guess I'm using it for cosplay now.

I don't know what is it about this cosplay that I just can't make correct. I've had to adjust/fix/modify every single piece after finishing them that I've come to doubt my sewing ability X.x The skirt needed to be taken in, the shirt collar and sleeves need to be adjusted, the white top needs to be fixed. And all happening while I had no more money to buy additional supplies (aka I bought the supplies so long ago, I don't know where they were originally from anymore.)
Personal Thoughts:
I hate pleating. I hate it. Pleating is my enemy.

And ignore my DURPPPP face. Bigggg thanks to the NYAF Madoka crew for a great time!

Styling Notes
CC-Kid's Homura wig is a mix of black, dark grey, and a little bit of white fibers. I like the way it doesn't make your head look very flat. Or in the case of my small face, doesn't overpower so I don't look like I have a heavy head (as much.)

The wig arrived before the estimated time, which is very good considering the ETA was very close to day 0. But when I opened the wig, there were already a few clumps of tangles that I had to brush out. But being heat-resistant fibers, it brushed out easily enough, but not without some fiber casualty, but the loss was still within the tolerable limit. And nothing that I couldn't fix with a straightener.

Now, being long wig, tangling is not a surprise, and any fizz could be fixed by a iron. Volume wise... it's not thick, but it's not thin either. A bit less than Cosplay-wigs me thinks, but not so much you can see the net.
