Construction Details:

This is a lot of gold and black fabric cut and sewn with laces and trims and trims and trims. I altered a medieval gown pattern for the top, and experimented with the draw-up drapery effect for the skirt potion.

The roses were sprayed with gold gloss and clipped from two sets of rose wreaths. The accessories were assembled (the rose ring and the fan were gifts from my Len!)

Personal Thoughts:

The dress was an original version I designed to correlate with my servant Len's outfit. I didn't think I'd make this dress since a ballgown sounded so complicated, but I owed Roora for cosplaying Magnet with me, and this was the song that got her into vocaloids.

Originally I was unsure about the fabric choices, and was going to keep everything simple and pleasant. Throughout the year, however, I found myself assembling trims and accessories and ended up decorating this dress like a Christmas tree xD;

PS. Acrylic nails are still a pain to wear :/ NO WONDER I NEEDED A SERVANT.
