Construction Details:

Update: Re-lined the cape with a lighter fabric and also used my old bracelets because I like them more. Just re-painted the pink bits a bit darker to match the new pink of the costume. I also re-shaped the tunic and made new trim for the bottom, because it was too tight before and didn't fan out enough.

Made in three days specifically for this shoot. I used a brighter pink to be more accurate to Amelia's earlier outfit, and the whole tunic (including "armor" piece) plus the bracelets and choker are new. I re-used the pants, cape and boots from my last Amelia costume.
Since I've always used craft foam in numerous layers for her armor piece to make it more solid, for this costume I decided to try something new. The main off-white bit is a very supple matte vinyl that is closer to faux leather, and the pink parts are handmade trim. The side pouch is an old cheap wig I had laying around. I folded it in on itself and made a new bigger gem for it.

Personal Thoughts:

I seem to have an Amelia problem. Slayers is a hell of a drug. Luckily, I have awesome friends who share (a small part) of my problem! :D Lina is BeckyTaka, Gourry is Jon, Zelgadis is OrochiSerge and Sylphiel is Dokudel!

Styling Notes

I used the wig from my Otome no Inori costume and added extensions from the scalp to fill in longer and thicker bangs, and add body all over for awesome 90s poofiness!
