Construction Details:

I made this costume out of crepe and Satin. One of the most interesting parts of Touhou cosplay is that you get a bit of an artistic liberty leeway

The construction is pretty straight-forward. I changed the shape of the skirt after the first time I wore it. I tried to add a lot of nice details to make it interesting. I wear three petticoats under this skirt and it still doesn't seem all the poofy haha!

These are my favorite bows I've made for any costume before. I added foamie, batting and interfacing in them to make them nice and perky :3

For the wings-
I shaped pvc pipe with a heat gun as my skeleton, then I glued and sewed on the vinyl skin. The harness is a little bit complicated. It's a piece of plastic with pipe parts pop riveted onto it and it's held in place with metal pins.
