Construction Details:

I initially didn't want to make a Sucker Punch costume because I thought the movie was lame, but since my sister REALLY wanted a cosplay partner to go along with her Babydoll costume, I gave in. And out of all the girls in the movie, I opted for Amber because I love her character design. I had a fun time sewing the ass-less chaps and jacket details because I love sewing the details on. It's what makes the costume. Jacket: I initially started with a pattern I found online but ended up scrapping that because I can't follow patterns that I don't make. So started over, with my own drafted patterns and sewed it together. -Pants: Drafted my own patterns as well and these were tight. -Hat Something I dreaded THE most while making this costume so it was inevitable that I saved it for last minute. It actually wasn't THAT hard to create and I think it turned out okay for my first time making a side cap like that. -Holsters Made out of pleather, I rushed them. Not finished and missing the side bags on her holsters -Hair: It's actually a wig! I'm probably the ONLY Amber to not use their own hair, my real hair is to short for buns. -Everything Else: Made by either my sister or me.
