Construction Details:

I used a regular button up shirt pattern, altered the back, altered the sides to include the light green, took it in for a more fitted look. I made a sailor collar and sewed it onto the shirt, the collar was my own pattern, it was pretty simple. The buttons are snap on buttons. I may be re-doing them if possible. I used black silk blend for the bow, it is attached to a black ribbon and can easily be removed. The inner part of the shirt is also removable because I use this same shirt for the second variation of her costume (when she changes skirts) I made the skirt from green fabric purchased at walmart.

Styling Notes

I can't really say how long it took to style this, because I worked on it a little everyday, I pulled the hair back, sprayed the crap out if with hair spray, then set the antenna up on bobbi pins and sprayed them everyday until A-kon 2011, then continued spraying them at the con to ensure they stayed up, which they did. I can't recall who I bought the wig from. I purchased a regular human hair wig 2 years ago from an Ebay seller who is no longer on Ebay. It wasn't til a year later that I decided I'd be using it for my Rei wig.
