About this Costume
Construction Details:
This one was not too bad. The cloak was pretty easy to make. However, the shirt gave me a lot of difficulties, truth be told. It was modded from a long sleeve white shirt from Goodwill and for some reason, I couldn't get the arm holes to look right LOL. The one I went with was actually my second try haha. The first failed version was used as an undershirt since the fabric was kind of see through. Wig was bought on ebay and cut by my friend and was styled and tweaked by myself. The necklace was made out of sculpey. The fur and gloves were pretty difficult as well. I had to dye the fur twice, though I think I spent more time worrying about the process than actually dying it. There was a lot of swearing while making the gloves. I bought the base glove from a japanese dollar store and cut off the finger tips and sewed on bias tape for the edges. Which took forever. OTL Pants were reused from Kurthnaga (my mom's pants lol). Boots were bought from hot topic and bias tape glued on and shoelaces bought and cut. The sword was made using cardboard, aluminum tape, dowel, pvc pipe, sculpey, and lots of masking tape. I was really pressed for time, so it looks pretty crappy. Also, it kept falling off during the con (there are hooks in the back which connects to the belt). OTL Oh and the belt was sewed together and the designs were painted on.

Styling Notes
I had to retie the ponytail and trim the the bangs. I'm kind of disappointed in how I trimmed the bangs so I hope that one day, I can get a new wig and fix my mistakes haha.
Wig Review
I was a little dissatisfied with the color and the way the ponytail was styled. A huge chunk of hair was chopped off in the back and the surrounding hair was pulled over to cover that up and I thought that was really awkward, although it did make the wig less bulky. I still end up having to re-tie the wig before every con with is a bit of a pain.
