Cosplayer VintageAerith > Costume of Angie Thompson from Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2
About this Costume
- Construction Details:
- I've been able to use this princess-seamed dress pattern for like...five costumes, it's so versatile. I hand-drafted sleeves and a collar for the dress, which is made of generic blue broadcloth, and appliqued white grosgrain ribbon. I covered an existing headband with the blue and glued on yet more ribbon, the arm warmers were hand-patterned out of another shade of broadcloth, and the bow is a strip of ponte knit. Socks are from SockDreams and I sort of took creative license on her shoes, since I like her bow motif, and needed to be shorter than my Dr. Stiles, who has the help of heeled boots to be taller than me. My Caduceus ID badge, along with Derek's, as well as my charts were hand-drawn in Photoshop by yours truly. It's hard to see in the photos, but the chart is for Emilio Juarez. EMILIOOOOOOOOOOOO
- Personal Thoughts:
- When Angie walked into Derek's storyline in Second Opinion and immediately put off a no-nonsense air and basically tore him a new one, I was completely blown away. Color me embarrassed or presumptuous, but I took one look at her blonde hair and nurse-fetish outfit and thought she'd be a terrible character. LOL. But I should be shot for doubting Atlus...they seem to be the only studio who can take a character with an annoying-looking design like Angie and make me like her, and at that, right off the bat. I'm really glad I gave her a chance, because now I can't imagine Trauma Center without her. :) (Also, randomly, my middle name is Angela, I am of German origin, and have green eyes. Thanks for the automatic-gimme cosplay, Atlus! Thanks so much to Han-Pan, my smexy Dr. Stiles, for doing YET ANOTHER Trauma Center cosplay with me, and for introducing me to the awesomeness that is this series. <3 Photos by TheBigTog!
