Construction Details:

Since this costume was for a group, we used the same patterns to match. Sparkle Pipsi provided our patterns for pretty much everything except the bows (which were from Lynleigh's site). The fuku turned out better than I thought it would. The leotard, skirt, and hip roll are all sewn together in one piece. The chest armor is lined in fleece to give it shape. The sleeves and glove rolls are made with channels stuffed with batting.

Styling Notes

The wig I bought was too thin, so I bought a second one to harvest the fibers for a fuller look. My friend Katie helped me style the poofy bangs with a steamer.
