Construction Details:

This dress and I have had some history. I've been to quite a few Hetalia cosplay meetups and have made many close friends in this dress. I have a major emotional attachment to it and Belarus is easily my favorite character to cosplay. The first time I wore it, at Youma '09, it was actually not really complete. The white fabric did not reach all the way around the bottom of the skirt so there was a bare spot on the back of it. The apron was also not completed and I used just a plain white one. Only until July of 2010 did I go back to finish it for World Hetalia Day. I used lace instead of the white fabric at the bottom because a)I had plenty and b)although I can get anal about accuracy, I wanted to add a bit of personalization to it.
