Construction Details:

The armor was interesting (and frustrating) to work on. I've remade two or three of the pieces and may continue working on a couple others. The hairdo is mostly my own hair, except for the two pieces hanging down in the front. Those are synthetic fibers I attached to clips since my current layers are either too long or too short to achieve that look. I also added pointed tips to the shoes made of foam and bondo and then attached with a sort of epoxy.

Personal Thoughts:

I had wanted to make something from Avatar for a long time now, but was undecided up until recently. One of my friends is going as Ty Lee to Anime Central this year, so I decided to go as Azula. We also found a friend interested in going as Mai, so our group will be complete.
