Construction Details:

I am particularly proud of this costume. I used a skirt pattern twice and alternated the fabric when sewing to give it that poofy effect. Used a computerized embroidery machine (borrowed, of course) for the 'breastplate' and boot pieces. I shortened the cape significantly from the original design to allow for maneuverability and ease of wear. I will most likely make some alterations to the cape and breastplate (I hate how floppy it looks without being secured down) before the next wear.

Personal Thoughts:

I didn't wear a wig for this one, but my hair really was too long. The weight of it kept pulling my curls out. This is for sale! Includes the skirt, cape, arm/ankle guards, breastplate, belt, shoes, and Mokona (he's a backpack!).
