Construction Details:

The "feathers" are cotton cutouts that are gradient dyed and hand-sewn onto the leotard. The leggings and armband are skin tone fabric painted with black paint.

Personal Thoughts:

This was an incredibly challenging costume to create given my skill level at the time. I had never done much wig styling, nor had I created a costume that was form-fitting. I learned a great deal about the do's and don't's of costuming from the construction of this piece. However, I am thrilled as to how it came out, and I'm incredibly proud of the wig.
