Construction Details:

I used a cotton sateen for the dress and a dull sating for the gold details. The base fabric was dyed blue using rit and dharma trading dyes. Heat'n'bond was used to adhere the gold designs to the fabric, followed by satin stitching with sulky thread. I used pellon and sulky stabilizers during the satin stitching process.
